Have a large bearing 9" rear, need to change out the bearings, what tools do we need to press this off then back on?

Drill a 1/4" hole 99% thru the retaining collar. Hit the collar with a hammer and chisel placed 90* to the retainer. It should pop right off. Now take a bearing splitter, and place it behind the bearing, between it and the retainer plate. put in a press and press off the bearing.

The old bearing will come off the same way as he just told you to remove the retainer also if you want to.
