guy i met at a little get together in nova scotia last week. fully custom frame, ford 300ci inline six, T18 tranny, series LR transfer, and rover 10 spline  coiler axles front and rear.

the quality of fabrication on this rig is awesome, i was really impressed. just needs some stronger axles though :D

oh yeah and its spring over on 35x12.5s on stock series 15"ers.

What's wrong with 10 splines if they DON'T break!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have been running them now forever, one of the reasons that I am going with the Toy conversion is that I don't feel like spending what it would take to upgrade to 24 spline, new R&P's and diffs. The thought of spending that much money on something that hasn't broken yet is what has probably kept me from driving like a frickin kamikazi and snapping the axles.

Nice truck.

I agree with RedRover (formerly ciocc77). Unfortunately unlike him, I have already dropped thousands of dollars on the Rover axle upgrade. I hope this new to us Toyota axle conversion works. That would be pretty sweet!

okay he doesnt break 10 splines but he munches through diffs like you wouldnt believe. i think he owes like 3 people range rover diffs.

hes not locked, and no matter how you cut it, 300 cubes of inline six torque, a granny first in the trans, a heavy ass 109, and 35s is going to break shit.

word to your mother on the 10 splines:

PRE 68 10 spline 8" third, takes a lock right or arb or trutrax. WITH 4.88 or 4.11's stock..... rebuilt from a yard, = way cheaper for people with 33's.

IMHO.

The trick is finding the thirds, and I am on that now... give me some time.
