The axle I bought has a bent tie rod and I need to find a heavyduty one to put back on it. Anybody know who makes them or what thread the tierod ends are so I can make one.

I have no idea what threads are used on the stock tie rod ends. I'd say switch it over to a heim jointed arm. I drilled the holes in the knuckle out to 1", then used some 1" OD, 3/4" ID tubing about 1-2" tall and welded that into the knuckle, that gave me a 3/4" hole to bolt my new tie rod to.

Wagoner Machine Shop sells bushings that fit into the stock tie rod hole in the knuckle and give you a 3/4" hole.

Give Casey at Wagoner Machine a call... I got all of my steering parts for my front axle from him... he'll hook ya up... everything looks DAMN stout... I can't remember what my tie rod is made of (pretty pathetic huh?) then of course the hi-steer arm, etc... that suckers made from like 1 1/4" thick metal, greasable, and all that business... anyways.. definitely give them a call before you do anything else! Tell him Matt Green sent ya! :flipoff2:

Maybe I can get a good deal on all my rear steering parts if I send him some business... :D :D :D
