Has anyone ever run a 10.25 Sterling axle under an early Bronco. Iam in the process of building a new rig and I just had 10.25 given to me, apears to be in real good condition. I don't know what year it is but I'm guessing 97-99 area. How stong are these things anyways? would this be worth the effort? I was thinking of fabbing some disc brakes for it but I don't wantt o waste my time if it isn't up to The task. thanks Brett

Don't see why it wouldn't work great under an EB:

I put one under a late model bronco (95). Pretty damn strong, although it has some negative effects on ground clearance since the pumpkin is so damn big. It works great though.

They're a strong axle, but like they said, it's an earth mover with the large pumpkin it's got
