1 spindle... popped a bolt right out of it, takin all the threads with it...

front driveshaft


rear shock


rear upper control arm bolt.


melted the terminal off of an optima


melted the wire's inside the winch motor.


finally bent my binford tie rod.


now i get to run around and get it all back together before the bigdog trip in 2 weeks!

It's a DT that came with the 4.5" kit. Might not be long enough for you. If I remember right it extends out to 24.75" or 25"....Lemme know!

So you did toast the 44 during your airplane impression do I see a 60 in you future. Have you considered hard mounting the engine/tranny/t-case, or adding support to the t-case. The 727/D20 adapters are only gett'n harder to find <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">

I was hoping the guts were still good.. I'm waiting to hear if the gears are salvagable still.

Engine/trans just got $200 worth of RPT motor / trans mounts in April when I broke the 727 'case (and a motor mount).

T'case broke this time because the front housing broke, so I pogo'd the t'case (just like the last time when the front springs gave out)

They are getting harder to find.. but I'll have two more tomorrow, and I was offered another 727/D20 combo on Sunday.. and another friend was boasting he could weld just about anything.. if I can find all the little pieces maybe I'll have another adapter TIG'd back together (I haven't tried using the last one I had TIG'd yet)

60 would be extra weight to crash on. I see a *TRUSSED* '44 in my future.. and maybe an even lighter rig, too. 3700lbs is still too heavy I guess. <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">

this Is Pretty Normal when You Have tires Big enough ,,, to get you Into a Whole Lotta trouble I broke 2 rear leaf spring's within 12 Hour's of Puttin them On these tires just Have sometime 's two much traction I don't Break all those other Part's Because I have REV 60's and 35 spline everything hehehehehehehehehe i am Pretty Sure You will Too very Soon!!!!!
