: degreed axle shims
DIY4X 12-26-2008, 05:49 PM New to the site,
$40.00 pair solid steel! Complete with new centering pins. I'll be modding the list to include a 3 piece set for the Dana 60's over the weekend.
Bottom side has a flat for the pin head to sit in.

I'm tempted to ship the axle housing to you to do (As well as doing the driverside perch) :) .

DIY4X 01-01-2009, 11:24 PM 8 and 10 are up on the site and available now.
Also put up 3 piece option for all degrees for Dana 60's. Third shim for on top of the spring pack under the spring plate, so your studs get loaded evenly.

They bolt in to the spring pack. So the spring pin is still in the proper position and they can't spit out.

scouthead 06-08-2009, 08:55 AM any chance of 12 degree shims for the front of my blazer?
DIY4X 06-16-2009, 07:22 PM any chance of 12 degree shims for the front of my blazer?
Sledge, Thank you!
Scouthead, Unfortunatley we don't have material thick enough to start with. We could bring in a small piece from an outfit we work with from time to time for small quantities but prices for the material are triple give or take.
A bit more expense. Let me know if you want me to get a quote together or call.

The third piece is another shim just like the other two. You put it on top of the spring pack the opposite direction as the lower one. This tips the spring plate back parallel with the perch or more importantly perpendicular to the Bolts that go in to the Dodge and Chevy 60.
This way the bolt heads load evenly and don't break.
DIY4X 02-22-2010, 05:26 AM 4,6, and 8's in stock ready to ship.
