Anyone have a problem with the kit leaking? I just pulled my driver side axle due to leakage and noticed the outside seal is deteriorated. Also the bearing race spins freely in the assembly ~ not sure if that is normal? The race seems to be part of the whole end piece and cannot be removed.

I have driven about a total of 1000 miles on the kit. It has never been over heated, hell I have only had four trail runs as well. I cannot say it looks like it was abused, the seal is worn down ~ almost look like it tore.

on original installation did you put any grease on the inside of the seal?

I did the orignal install and then removed one shaft for some reason (can't rmember why). When I reinstalled it I was not careful and tore the seal up pretty good. Apparently on the first install when you tighten down the 4 bolts you expand the seal a bit (this is by design if I'm not mistaken). You have to be extra careful when you reinstall it because it is very easy to tear the seal on the second install.
I replaced mine and it hasn't leaked since.
Dissasembling those shafts a a couple of times will make you appreciate c clips. :D
