I picked up a set of stock tires and wheel from my buddies f350. I guess $40,000 wasnt enough he had to spend more
So I got the stockers for $80, with about 100 miles on them :)
But....... They dont fit.... Dammit. Smaller studs on the newer D60's apparantly.. I can just drill these out right?

The bolt pattern on the new wheels you bought is 8 on 170mm. Also, it is hub centric....
The bolt pattern on your truck is 8 on 6 1/2"and the nuts align the wheel.
Drilling the wheels out would be overly costly I'm assuming, so the best alternative would be to make 1" spacers that'll bolt to your hubs, cut your studs down so you run them flush when the acorn nut is tightened to the spacer and run the metric pattern offset from your imperial pattern. Your truck would be wider, but it's the only way I can see this working.

WRONG. the 2002 model F-250 and 350 received the 60. Earlier SD trucks had the 50

Chad,
You could have told me before you brought them, when they went to the new design they changed to a metric bolt pattern.
Any ford 8 lugs up to 1997 will fit your Dana 60, just get rid of them on ebay.

I say sell them, you'll come out way ahead with only having 80 bucks in them. Then get some that will work.

I'm flipping the idea back and forth on doing this to my chev and running a set of michelin XL's... 40's on stock ford rims but made to fit my truck. It'd be different, but interesting.
