OK.
I had bought this 1990 XJ back in April that was hit on the drivers side door. Origionally I was gonna fix it, then I started to strip it for body parts to use on Rebuilding my MJ.

Now I have a rolling Chassi XJ that runs real good. I am getting the door post pulled on Monday and I want to put this thing back to gether and make it as capable as possibly for the cheapest amout of money. I want to leave the doors, and the lift gate off to save weight. I want to bend tubular sched 40 bumpers for high clearence angle front and rear and trim the rear quarters up a tad bit. I also want to bend up some tube doors and a tube tailgate that will attach to the rear bumper.

Right now I have $200 in the Jeep. I will have $200 in getting the door post pulled. I want to spend less than $600 on the rest of the rig.

HELP!!!

SUGGEST!!

SELL ME YOUR USED LIFT PARTS CHEAP!!

Any suggestions??

I'll sell you some 3" Rancho coils for real cheap. You can throw some extra stock coil isolators on top of those if you want more cheap lift. Also, using the 2nd through 5th leaves from a Dakota supposedly gives about 4.5" in the rear.

The coils will be out next weekend (going to 6") and I'll sell them for $40. email me btmaxwell@ucdavis.edu

If you had the fabrication skills. Go for a junkyard leaf spring conversion upfront. That would make lifting it cheaper and easier. Plus swapping in a 44 would be easy as well.
