about 4 months ago I bought a 86' k30 from a friend. the motor went out on him and he put in a crate 350. everything on the truck works which makes it a perfect candidate for a trail rig. the tires on it now are old and brittle and in need of replacment. I would like a set of Interco 38x12.50-15LT TSL/SX-Tires. as of now the trucks stock ive been lookin into the ord shackle flip kit for a 4 inch lift. id like some flex and dont mind cuttin the fenders. few questions i got are with the shackle flip what els do i need? what to do with the front? would a 3inch body lift on top of the lift be smart? yes im new to the forum and dont know much on the topic. try not to flame to hard..

Use the search button, everything you asked has been answered a million times.

BTW, the newbie 4x4 forum is there for you to ask newbie questions....i would suggest if you dont want your balls ripped off, you go there.

You have been warned.

*sniff*

Smells like Tuesday.

Hit up the newb section, at least THERE, we're expecting it. Also, try ck5.com, and search around there....they're all '73-'87 there, and you'll get some more 'specific' help.

shackle flip rear, 4" lift springs up front,
rims no wider than 10", cut the fenders to clear.

(i have similar set-up on 89 k-5, with 14 bolt)

oh, yeah, and learn how to use search, and newbie sections,
or get nomex skivvies....

Um,yeah. Does the OP know that 1 tons generally have 16s or bigger? That was my point, not that I give a rats ass.:homer: If you are buying different tires and wheels, why fart around grinding and shit.

The last thing I want is to start another 15 inch wheels on a 1 ton thread. :barf::laughing:
