ok, so i am about to buy an sm 465 for $150 that has an adapter for a np 208 is this too much ?

what will it take to swap the np 208 output for a 205 output, is there a kit or something ? thanks

Take off the np208 adapter, sell it, buy a sm465-np205 adapter & coupler, also your 205 would need to have 32 spline input. Theres lots posted about this kinda stuff.

that is one of the stronger 465s, just a little longer package then the weaker older 10 splines.
you need a more rare np205 to bolt up

Re-drill the 208 adapter for a 203 and put in a 203/205 doubler, I have been looking for the SM465/208 adapter so i could do the same thing, but I wound up just going with the 205
