I live in Bend Oregon and it gets pretty cold here in the winter time. Would I have trouble starting it in the cold cause the carborator? Are there any other things I would need to look out for? I want to be able to use it as a daily driver in the winter. Thanks for any help!

but if you are looking for easy start ups, warm, quiet ride, with great handling get a honda or vw or something. It just depends on the carb and few other details, some crank up no problem others take a can of ether every morning. If someone is driving it everyday I bet they could tell you.

Buy it and do a efi swap, not to hard. Here's some reading for you. http://fordfuelinjection.com/

I used to drive mine everyday, never a problem starting even in the cold. Im in Seattle so it doesn't get super cold but cranked up fine last week in 15 degrees after sitting for a week. Check around for rust, theres common places that are easy to repair like floorboards. Its near impossible to buy a clean unrusted EB but you don't want to get stuck with a total rust bucket.
