Just a quick blip, I am on vacation 8/22-9/3, running a small group of Monteros from Fresno to Downieville, via the most fun routes of course. Starting the 22nd on Swamp lake then the Dusy, eventually starting the Con 8/29-8/31, then heading onto Fordyce afterwards. I have trucks meeting for both legs, at Shaver Lake or Loon Lake. If anyone is planning on running during this time and is looking for a group, your welcome to join us. Mostly mildly modified rigs, and fairly casual wheeling. Of course, it does not mean I can pass up any little fun extras ;)

Rich, long time no hear. I gave you these dates a few months back it seams. I have a few meeting up for the Con. Actually club participation numbers continued to climb for another year, but then fell off. I got pissed and gave up. Now theres quite a few hosting regional trips and things are looking better. I no longer plan general events, I just do what I want to do, and usually longer, expedition style trips, as well as difficult. So nothing official any more, but I still see lots of Rookies on my trips, so theres allways plenty of education going on. :) Got a Canadian Raider owner coming back for some more Rubicon after last year, so I must be doing something right. :confused: Next summer will be BC, and going to Copper Canyon this winter. 2010 I am doing a Tierra Del Fuego to Prudhoe Bay expedition.

Sounds Cool. I guess you can guess what I've busy with. I'll be at Paragon Adventure Park, Penn. helping them with there first event.

Maybe we can catch up another time.
