I have orderd a terra high steer knuckel for a 30 and I'm confused about the inserts That are used. Are they stock balljoint taper and if you don't use them it is cut for one ton joint's or are there two sets of inserts; one for stock and one for one ton. And do they come seprate or with the knuckel? I'm building my own links and need to know what I need to get in the way of parts. Thanks for any help.

They come with a pair of stock tapered sleeves. I ordered a set for 1 ton TRE's but they didn't work (to big) for the Chevy TRE's.
I ended up picking up a reamer from 4wheelers and reamed out the stock tapered sleeves and drivers side knuckle. Been running this set up for about 6 months now with out issue.

Thanks that is what I needed to know. Talked to Rob at four wheelers and a lot of other people; no one had any idea if they came with the knuckel or you had to get them seprate. I did not want to wait a week to get the knuckel and then wait another week if no inserts or wrong inserts came with it. I have found out that it comes with 3/4 holes and you have to use the inserts to use TRE; I guess I could make my own inserts if I had to. I forgot how much fun it is to go explore and do light duty wheeling; and how much fun it is to drive the jeep again. But with this it sees a lot of road time to and from the trails. This thing is like driving a water bed down the road right now.

They put the large inserts if you want to use a larger tie rod-end on your stock driver side knuckle too. Drill straight and put the insert (not everyone got the "right" reamer). The samll one, I think, its for a flip over of the lower bar with small tie-rod ends. I'm not sure, but if it can help...
