I am shopping for a Ruger SP101 .357 mag 2 1/4" Barrel. I have checked probably 8-10 local shops (West Central PA) and have gotten prices ranging from $420 - $590.... :eek: How the hell can the prices vary that much? Are some places just trying to make more than others or are the prices from there suppliers just that varied?

I am obviously gonna guy from the place with the lowest price but WTF.

My distributors show two different versions. One with a laser grip, one without. The price difference is comparable to what you have been seeing.

I almost bowed to the little voices that said I need more money for the EBR's and said "I have one I'll sell ya......." but I came to my senses, I'll keep it thanks.:D

Maybe that is it. Who knows. I questioned the one guy that quoted me one of the higher prices and he got all offended and defensive..
