These new bad boys on the market are made from a solid forged body. They feature a hardened steel uni-ball that is even hard chromed and 2 stainless steel hi-misalignment spacers. They have the current toughest lubricating bearing material (Teflon/Kevlar). Unlike other ends like this on the market you do not need to weld these and you get the full amount of misalignment out of them. You will also not need any grease for these. Just in case of FIRE rebuild kits are available. We also have tube inserts available.

can you post up any strength numbers to compare to other similar joints?

No raw numbers but they have been run in competition on buggies without loosening or failure and are much stronger than a weld on style shank rod end.

Glad you asked! Basically instead of relying on a uniball with the extra misalignment spacing built in these have a uniball that uses mis-alignment spacers. The ball on these have a 1" bore so you can use a spacer that accepts quite a bit of bolt. I think 3/4 would probly be the max since the thickness of the wall on the spacer would be thin. As long as the bolt is tight you should have no problem using a 3/4" bolt. We may add an extra fee for the 3/4" bolt as we would be opening up the bore to .745-.750 on the misalignment spacers.
