I see a lot of trucks that say they come with limited slip and then some of em say posi or full posi... whats the difference?

I believe Posi-Traction is just a trade-marked name for a particular ls unit......was made by some portion of GM I think.

Posi-traction is a brand name like Detriot and Lockright. It's still a LSD.

Posi-Traction is the name that General Motors uses for their factory Limited Slip Diffs.
