RECENTERED H1 Wheels on the cheap!!!

I thought it was time to start a thread with recentered wheels only.
(I'm only recentering 12 bolts at this time)

Here is what you get.

I supply you with the stock 12 bolt wheel and rubber runflat if you want it.
(Wheel below has been painted they don't start out this pretty:D)

I take the plate off of it and cut the stock center out on a WaterJet. The holes are cut perfect.

I then supply you with a new center.

(I have just hooked up with Mad Mac and am offering pressed centers as well.)

In the flat centers I can set your backspace from 2" to 4.5". With pressed centers they are 3.5" only. I offer centers for all axles. dana 30's to rockwells and Mogs.
I then send the wheels off to have them sandblasted and powdercoated. Holes have the proper degree so there is no slop with your lugnuts.

Just got my order from Todd of five reentered wheels and 37’s. Todd, these wheels are every bit as kick ass as you said they’d be. The build quality is awesome, from the new valve stems to the excellent welds.

The way that the pressed centers are made it is not easy to set the backspacing at anything other than the 3.5" that they are when the fall into the wheel the way they are designed to. I'm sure you could try and rig them up but they are not like a flat center in any way and it would be very tuff and something that I would not stand behind.

This is not an exact measurement but run with the inside of the wheel being 15-15.5 and see if that works for what you are after.

I have an 8 bolt at the machine shop as we speak looking for a good way to mil out the centers. The "WMS" (wheel mounting surface) on a stock 8 bolt is on the main wheel part. When you un do the 8 bolts the WMS is part of the main wheel part. On the 12 bolts the WMS is on the face plate. Not the main shell of the wheel. Because the 12 bolts are not on the main wheel part I can put them in the waterjet on a jig and the head of the machine has no problem clearing them. However on the 8 bolts the head of the machine would hit the main shell part on the 8 bolt wheels. When the stock centers are cut out they are the exact same except the fact one has 8 bolts and one has 12 holding them together. I'm a mo. or so out frob offering 8 bolts recentered and don't know exactly what I will have in them at this point to be able to quote them.

Here are a few more pics of some custom stuff. Had a guy call with a bolt patern I'd never done. It wasn't a mog or a rockwell. I'm not sure what he had but, no problem. We busted out centers for him and here they are. These are also some pictures of a customers wheels that wanted his 5 lugs to have the powder coat silver inside and the darker on the outside with half rings. They turned out great:smokin:

I have a build going on right now with 49" Iroks. They are 21.5" wide. YES the 49's would be to much tire for the stock wheel but the 44's that are 18" wide. There are 100's of them set up that way.

They will be 345 ea. I know that is more than the others I offer but I have a lot more in them. I haven't shopped around but I'm guessing you are not going to find a doublebeadlock wheel that is 14" wide cheaper anywhere. I sold my 49's off my build a week ago to a buddy. I ordered another set and once they get here I'll get the new iroks mounted up with these wheels and give you a feel forjust how :grinpimp: They are going to look mounted

I'm also in the process of making up some 20" wheels that are 11" wide into double beadlocks. They will have 1/2" Centers. I just bought a shitpot of wheels I just need to get to working on them

Lance they look great!!! That's what I dig about the H1's. Your using your stock rockwell bolt patern yet getting away with a 16.5" wheel giving you a chance to put as much rubber on the ground as you can. If you had a taller wheel when you aired down you wouldn't get the same effect. Thanks for the pictures!!

Can I ship you just the small half of the 12 bolt wheel to have the center cut out on your waterjet? I dont want to plasma them and want it nice and even. I can get the centers welded locally and dont need to ship them. What would that run me? I could ship them to you and then you weld the wicked rings on and then send them back with the centers.
