Anybody know of an OEM mod to use the cruise control while in park for high idle?

That is a newer Cummins & Duramax trick, for a 7.3l PS you are looking at an AIC in either factory or the $15 version.

or you could buy a good tuner and get the extra power too.

How is a tuner related to high idle?

Either way, no.

My Bullydog 6pack has a high idle setting. I believe it sets the idle to about 1100 rpms. Its on a 2000 F350 with the 7.3.

Just so everyone knows, I already have a dial I can use to set the idle with an unlimited number of positions.

Just looking for ways to better utilize the oem configuration.

The CAP programming in the superduty powerstrokes will automatically elevate the idle up to ~1200RPM when it is cold enough to need it so a 1100rpm high idle setting on a chip seems like a waste compared to an AIC in either the factory or $15 version that lets you adjust the elevated idle to the speed you want.

The 05+ trucks have a SEIC program in the PCM with blunt cut customer access wires that make it easy to work with:
