Being today is the start of a new year, I decided to think back about what this section has cost me.

Quick math in my head is well over $5,000, I am sure if I actually spent some time adding it up it'd be way more.

The crazy thing is just by watching this section I know for a fact that I didn't spend shit for money compared to a lot of people in here.

It's crazy the amount of money that has been spent just because of this section.

I know if this section wasn't here I still would have spent some money on gun stuff, but I know it would have been no where near this much.

I cut about 10" of barrel off a non-ribbed Mossberg 500 the other day... and I may get around to silver soldering either chunks of picatinny rail or a ghost ring setup onto that barrel.

But it still has wood stocks, dammit!

I bought a tactical one with the shortened gas system, fluted barrel, nice scope from DSA, mount and rings, and X series stuff, duracoated and two bags of extra parts and a bunch of other crap off gun broker for $2200.00. I thought it was a good deal. Really like above too....

The guy listed it as a FALTactical, not a FAL Tactical and had no views hardly but myself and the guy I bid against..... Spaces between words are important....

16" I think, mid length gas system, recoil of DSA seems a little less than a Century FAL but about the same as the IMBEL Para above in the pic.

I do not like the flashhider you posted for an FAL FWIW.
