this is my first handgun purchase from a major chain. All other purchases have been face 2 face purchases and no bullshit included.

What am I in for.

I want to purcahse a handgun from Cabelas and walk in fill out the forms and walk out with a gun. I know I will pass the paperwork and background check, hell if the FBI cleared me I should be good with Cabelas and the local LEO's right?

So if I understand the laws correctly I walk in fill out the forms and walk home empty handed than three days later I go back and pick up a handgun.

The problem with this is I live an hour and a half away from Cabelas. Do I have to go back and forth twice?

PA is instant check. Walk in, pick out your gun, fill out a form shop the rest of the store for 20 minutes, go pay and take your firearm home. PA rules.

Just make sure you have your drivers license on you.

because the guys at cabelas arent as knowledgable as the people here.

besides I like to contribute every now and again. It makes me feel good and gives me yet another reason to live.
