: New to the pirate
jenny fur 01-03-2009, 01:36 AM I have been watching my husband post for months and it,s time to see what the addiction is about.I have a 77.5 F250 460, c6 with a 205 t-case.It started out as the shop truck, but now its mine.In his spare time LOL he is building it slowly now it has 4.88,s an 8 inch easey ride spring lift 38,tsl,s on alcoa wheels 12,000 lb winch and lockers front and rear. Compared to his truck and the customer rojects we have in the shop it,s not really any thing special but I wheel it right with him and his friends and I don,t use the winch much. any other women tell me about your rides! jenny fur [he set the site up and picked the name] :shaking:HCCF&4x4
Cute :D
I'm not a woman and cant really get mine to get on here at all. She has a samurai that she wheels with the big guys but doesnt like the pirates. Lot of @$$holes around here. Welcome anyway and good luck. Nice sounding rig as well do you guys play in the mud much? Doesnt sound like much of a rock crawler, not the rocks we do anyway.

rockreligious 01-03-2009, 10:03 AM Welcome to the PBB, I used to run around in a 77.5 Ford that I restored from the frame up, had it for 8 years, ran it in Moab for 5years before I traded it in on a Jeep, love my Jeeps but Ive always missed my old ford.

GMCTruxrule 01-03-2009, 03:09 PM My wife rides shotgun twice with me out in one area we wheel alot and then tells me its time to find a new trail cause "these ones are boring after you wheeling them once"
Big Black Bronco 01-05-2009, 03:46 PM my wife rode with me 1 time... she thought the dirt road on the way to the trail was fourwheelin'. then I showed her my idea of fourwheelin..... she won't even let me spend money on my rig now....:bawling:

God forbid a woman have a nice 4x4 that gets used. I work on my own truck and drive it also Im not a hardcore wheeler but like I said I get muddy right with the rest of em!Ive pulled my share of stuck/ broken rigs off the trail,I seem to grt alot of high fives. And a few thumbs down ,I just keep on going right on by them,If they dont like it. Ive even rescued the oldman a time or two.Theres room for everyone out there!

dont let it bother you, its a tradition, you will likely be served some more, its just the pirate way to say welcome to the pbb, showing some skin would likely get you thier acceptance sooner. Hardcore in more ways than wheeling for certain.
