Has anyone made an FToy, but left on the IFS? I was thinking maybe someone could go the FToy route but install long-travel IFS and maybe a long travel rear setup and go fast instead of slow...
BTW, I do NOT want to do this, but I could picture someone thinking about it...

Its been discussed a bit in the Desert forum. Would make for a fun rig, at ~200-250hp!

Would be cool but probably $$$. Would likely be easier and almost as effective to get a set of go fast leafs built, bump stops, go fast shocks.......I think this was in the minds of those who originally conceived the Ftoy concept.
How about a 2wd with crazy long travel f. end and long link rear. You could use a 2wd truck and a bolt on long travel kit. I know there are others but the Total Chaos comes to mind. How about a 3.4 with 2wd auto. I just happen to have one. HHHhhhmmmmm???

It's definately been discussed. Like stated above, 2wd long travel or 4x4 with a good set of springs. I don't know what would do better all around. A 2wd with a total chaos front end and a little horse power definately sounds fin though.
It sounds like the "Best in the Desert" Series will have a class just for KOH type rigs next year. C'mon, someone build one.

I have the drivetrain, rear axle, seats and frame. Anybody in for the chassis? Cromoly would give that warm fuzzy feeling when going real fast.......:D
