I need some help I have a 2004 super duty with 6.0 and auto and when it warms up the tow/hual light starts flashing and at low rpm's there is a shutter, I am sure it is a sensor but has anyone else had this problem?

You's most likely got some trans issues. Look in your owners manual, it should say something like "Tow to a fawking dealer RFN" or something like that.

tow/haul light flashing is similar to O/D light flashing on a 4r100 or an e4od 99% of the time the problem is a slipping converter.

What possesses you to think that because it is indicating an error that the sensor is bad? when the temp gauge is too high do you think that means that you don't need to check something just replace the sending unit? Realize how insane that sounds.

Take the truck to a trans shop or the dealer you need to spend some money.

Being so new, I would have a tranny shop plug into it before I kept driving it. At least they may be able to tell you what's going on or what your getting yourself into.

Not to throw a wrench into the works, but my mom's 02 exploder was doing the exact same thing today, right down to the shudder. Closer examination of the engine compartment revealed some mice made a snack out of a sensor wire. After replacing the chewed threw wire it works like it did before. The sensor it was i do not know. But you may want to take a look for dirty plugs or chewed wires.

I had the tow/haul light start flashing in one of the trucks (06 F550 6.0) at work while I was driving down I-5. There was no where to pull off so I drove to the next off ramp I could get to. The truck came to a grinding halt, died and smoke was pouring out from under the hood. The ford dealer said that the torque converter had welded itself to the input shaft. Moral of the story, go get your truck checked out.
