volvos- smaller, easier to adapt, lighter.
mogs- bigger, stronger (maybe), sounds cooler to say "mog axles" than "volvo axles".
personally i would be going with volvos on a buggy for their weight, size, and adaptability.

There is a lot of talk about volvo axles on the sierra rock crawler's board (look in one tone tech under guess what axle this is). It seems that they are not being produced anymore and that parts will not be easy to find for a 303 axle. Its hard enough finding parts for a mog axle, much less a 303. :D

Hey frankie fountain why did you want a quote on 404 axles from me ,when you already ordered a set from another source ?:shaking:
I dont think what you are doing is right !!
To compare the deals, you have also to compare the quality !
We are the only one that are making the hubs out of one piece cromo4 and they are ISO certyfied and TUV approved !
It is the same with the pinion conversion !
Also nobody has forged axle shafts for the 404 !:D

Do you know of any good sources for Mog, or Volvo axles in Iceland? My friend is heading there to find some.

Born in a jeep,
I think Iceland is not the ideal place for Volvo or MOG axles, but I will call some guys regarding Iceland! If I got any information for you I will let you know!

Hey Wolfgang, he didn't contact me either.
C'est la vie.
Frankie, I saw your posting under General. After you deal with narrowing, etc., I think we're all in the same ballpark for pricing.
