I went to Lowes today to see if they had marked down there gun safes yet....sure as shit they had a SENTRY Fire/Security 14 (i think) gun safe that was $697 normally marked down to $522....awesome!!! so i go to get the kid behind the counter to help...turns out he's a fellow Jeep guy and asked some jeep advice...he then gave me 10% off the safe also....unfortunately, most of my neighbors are big piles of SUCK and i had to have it delivered for $80...either way i think it was a good deal...

you should have driven across teh street and rented the truck from Home Depot for $30 and delivered it yourself.

That safe weighs about 150 or 200 pounds right? You could have bought a twenty dollar dolly and loaded into the hatchback of your civic.

Lowes is always good for a random discount, was buying new clear lenses for my welding helmet and a couple other things, kid rings up 1 lens and throws the other 19 in my bag, I say something like, "that's 20 not 1" he says, "Yeah, it's cool, I just don't want to ring them all up" WTF? I love that place.

Picked up a Liberty 23CF safe on sale for $688. :smokin:

520lbs and we just backed the pickuptruck to my front door pushed it in the living room, removed it from teh pallet, and did a little three man jig with an old dolly to get it into teh man room. Badda bing. :grinpimp:

Good deal for you on a safe. I bought one like it on closeout from Wal-mart for about $300.00. Its NOT fireproof though. Its for the non-gun stuff.

The first and ONLY time I've ever shopped on Black Friday, I came home with a 4-500lb stackon safe from atwoods.


Had a friend come help me get it out of my truck, and wheel it in. Had it set up in an hour.
