Its a simple answer, how far is your axle going to move forward after whatever you do? once you get a measurement go see what the total extension is on your front driveshaft. If there is enough for it to connect back onto the axle yoke and still have enough extension for when the axle drops and flexes, then your golden. crashnzuk 01-07-2009, 10:41 AM If you are leaving the shackles at the back (I assume you would) and put the long side of the spring toward the rear, your axle will roll under/forward as it droops. This can cause u-joint bind and the need for a longer slip joint in the shaft.
