A little help from the Ford board if you don't mind...

I am looking to swap a 460 into my Scout II. If I want to run a 460, C6, 203/205....what's a good year to look for a donor with a 203 in it or are they hard to find that way. Any suggestions for a similar double t/case and torque setup are welcome.

I almost did this with my Scout. I was planning on using a 205 from a 78 Bronco. Good luck, sounds great..
There is a guy "460scoutondubs" here that has a 460 Scout too if ya didnt know......:cool:

'78-'79 Broncos and F-150's. Both had 203's and 205's. The 205
is all gear driven, the 203 is chain driven. I'd opt for the 205 due
to strength, specially if yer goin' with the 460/C6 combo.
