speakin of Bigdude and EROCC, I just got done watching an EROCC vid taken at Jellico in like March I think... And lemme say Bigdude, you are a big sumbitch... I've not seen any great pics of you, but it damn sure looks like you, spotting for a black TJ, and huckin rocks at one point like they were nothing...

That's me. What video was it??? If it was a production video I'd like to buy it. I bought the SOJA videos of ERoCC but they don't have much footage of our team. I'll be picking up the Flash production videos also if that was them.

yeah, it was the Flash Production vids... I have two of them right now, both from Jellico... A third one should be on its way... There is some good footage, although the music pretty well sucks... But there is some awesome comp footage... The main thing I don't like (other than the music, which i'll get over) is that some vehicles are on in there like once, and others are in there constantly.... Some I'd have liked to see more off... But that's no big deal either...

Thanks fellas... I'm constantly trying to learn new stuff so I can put it up on the website. I kinda got myself into being the webmaster, and didn't have too much experience doing much other than posting pics.

I Just got done doing a FLASH intro type movie to the website... if you go to http://www.erocc.com/, you should see the short, video

Thanks again for the kind words. I hope to be able to have the time to put up a page for spotters, to pay respects to the unsun heroes, the guys/gals that work their a$$es off at every even, like Big Dude!

The intro movie looks cool also. I really do think the driver page is a step in the right direction. Kind of like baseball cards :D

Thanks... we are trying to build the courses hard enough so that we won't be the laughing stock of the competitive rock crawling world. So far, I think we've held our own. I'd just like to find a way to spark a fire under the a$$ of some of the west coast guys to at least come out and give eastern rock crawling a shot.

Sweet D is working on a couple of west coast guys right now, I believe.

Yeah, you need to put the spotters up too.... I need some more BigDude chop ammo  J/K :flipoff2:

Seriously though, it does look great, keep up the good work!

Give it time. If the money and publicity are there then they'll come. I think the publicity will pick up soon enough, then the money will follow. If they see the videos/pics and want a challenge, they'll come. Also give the east coast another season or two and you won't care about the guys out west. You'll have your hands full with all the new guys from the east.

This is true... we just need to get the guys on the east coast building enough rigs to fill up the competition.

hmmmm... well i guess i need to see footage from out west then... There is a guy here that is a member of my club, and he competes in ProRock events (John Loyd is his name... drives a stretched red YJ he calls the Scrangler)... Well, they had camp jeep here, and we were out building trails, and he came out once... There is a big rock pile that only like 2 people had ever driven over the hardest part... He drove over it talking on his cell phone... Course, there are only like 2 people around with bigger than 37s...

But, back to teh point... Someone was talking about maybe doing MoRoc (i think that is self explanatory), and I saw these vids and was like, um... damn... we ain't gonna be able to compete with this type of shit... And now that you say that you think your stuff is tame, then that makes me *really* think that we don't have a chance...

Sorry if I made you think it is tame... I don't think it is. Maybe I should sum that up by telling you that I've never had my rig on the stuff (not that I've had much of a chance, either).

I think it's getting tougher every event, but not tame. Our wide range of scores show that the obstacles are tough enough to keep people from tying with each other for low score.

The Sept. event should be very interesting. I know Sweet D and his buddies have been working like madmen to make the course as good as the last two.

It's not. And I know you've heard that from the guys who do other competition circuits just like I have :flipoff2:

Just compare your scores to those of RRCA competitors. If you see Shupee getting 5 points in an RCAA event and 5 points in your event, that's pretty comparable IMO. Same with Durham, etc.

What do you say Shupee:flipoff2:

Looks incredible.

I wish there were competitions up here.

I currently don't have the resources to travel that far. Someday.

Guess we'll have to put a section in the ERoCC Rules about limitation on engine size or Frankie will show up with a GE TF-39 TurboFan engine and will LAUNCH his way up Crow's Nest.

Just yankin' your chain Frankie (but don't get no ideas). :flipoff2:

Well, I know next season, we are bringing atleast 2, and maybe more rigs out for the series. We would have been out for this years series if we had found out about it alittle earlier.

Also, I didn't feel that the July coarse was tame, it did look to have some very challenging spots. I think the coarses are right inline with other comps. **I may be wrong, since I myself have never run in any comps**

Jeepinchad - The website is looking good!!

Well, every EROCC I've been at is better then the last, the 1st was cool just because no one over here knew what to expect, the 2nd had crazy steeps, the 3rd had very technical sections, so I guess the 4th will have crazy steep technical sections ( crows nest with cones! maybe...) anyway, Bigdude is right, everyone and their brother that I know wants to get in this, but plans for new rigs have to be worked out:D just look at the BIG differences in the ARCA/RCAA comp's over the year's. Durham's CJ-10 is a HELLA-RIG but I don't think it's going to compete with the Shupe, Shaffer, Meyer, etc. buggies anymore. The sport is growing super fast, I expect to see more sponsored rigs in next year's EROCC.

I'll be running next year, haven't decided what class yet. This whole independent suspension thing has my head spinning. I might just have to build for the legends class so that I have time to figure out how to build the IS rig, or if I want to build an IS rig. I would've competed this year, but my rig is too built for legends and not built enough for unlimited. Any of you boys behind the scenes in Eroc know if there's going to be any rule changes for next year?
