i went out the night befor to go get some kids i knew out. well by the time i got there, it was an f150 on 33's, one on 35's, a blazer on 35's, a jeep on 38's set up to mud drag, and a stock chevy.
they were in an old pond. no one goes out there for a reason, it is pretty much bottomless. after getting the jeep, blazer, and chevy out, i went for the fords. got the one on 35's out, then when trying for the one on 33's i fell into the ruts from the jeep and me pulling the jeep out.
the truck was stuck there for two days. a friend even trued with an international mxt. which weighs in at 16,000 pounds, and 46 inch tires, and about 1200 foot pounds of torque. he failed to get the truck out.

after much digging, and a f250 on 46" claws, the truck got out on the 2nd night

Saw the video of your truck on YouTube from TheOutlawSS- sucks that it burned to the ground. I'm surprised no one even bothered to pull out an extinguisher to help you out man... Real bummer.

My first run in the deep pit where they run the trucks with tractor tires.....Its at least 4 ft deep of mud......I wasn't scared and showed them this 4cyl would try anything....

this was the last time it ran it popped the head gasket right before and the only way it would run is all out and if you let off at all it would die so i lined up put it in neutral in 4 low put it to the floor and dropped it in drive it snapped the rear drive shaft hit the mud hole and died never ran again. but oh well i only had $400 in it and scrapped it for 300

heres another where I was stuck. There was one big buried stump I couldnt for the life of me get over after repeatedly rock back and fourth forever. Lockers front and rear. Shitty thing was I had a 12,000lb warn at home that just needed to be mounted. Put that on shortly after! Little mini excavator pulled me out

This is out in disney oklahoma right? I go out there all the time, I know right where that is to. That crap is slick as snot!!! I busted, repaired, and re-busted my rear drive shaft their in one weekend. I have had alot of good memories from that place, sold my tj a few months back and now I am building a bullnose commando.

This is what we like to call Flint mud. My family has a farm, we wheel the piss out of it all the time. This mud is a cross between flooding during the winter and natural springs. It is really deep and saturated, you don't know what your getting into until your stuck.

this was at the last muddi gras. the truck got stuck in front of our camp on friday afternoon.
they didn't get it out till sunday after noon. when the excavator pulled it from the back,
it bent the hitch and the frame. when it pulled from the front frame it bent that too.
they finally got it out when they picked it up by the front axle.

oh and the tires are around 60 inches tall . . .

Last fall I got caught by this little hole on the inside of a corner. It's about 20' long as last year my buddy got horribly stuck there. It was dry and it looked solid as there was dry sand covering the top... big mistake.

I started crawling into it and got more then half way and though this was going to be easy... the front dropped down about 12" and I hammered it and then we found the mud.

I could move a little bit, but it did nothing but throw mud straight up.

apparently it was the city's, then the golf course got it (which is part of the city haha) .. and the parks guys borrowed it and got it stuck ... but yes most of the backhoes the parks / street dept has now are 4wd

I remember you hitting this hole if thats your truck, what did you break in the front end? Truck sounds pretty good.

i didnt break anything the shackle flipd forward and was hitting the frame, and minus a front locker, maybe i would have had a little more chane making it, o well next year ill make it!

Dan decided he was going to try to make it through the mud hole before walking it. This was about three hours into the day, around 5pm, with wives and family's planing to meet us for dinner in 1/2 hour. He had five kids in the van watching "Mater's Tall Tales" (the Disney "Cars" Character) as he plowed in. The other two rigs (a Jeep Grand Cherokee and a Geo Tracker, both pretty much bone stock) were not capable of a backward retrieval.

We ended up spending 2.5 hours hauling him through the hole, turning him around and hauling back across it, breaking the synthetic line and burning up one solenoid in the 12k Warn in the process. (We need a 15k but it won't fit the bumper.)
The wives and in-laws were not exactly smiling as we showed up at 7:30pm as the kitchen was closing and they were cleaning up the restaurant.

Just got my sami back today after having a master cylinder replaced and the new tires balanced, drove it to my house and got it stuck.

you can definitely tell which tires were spinning in the middle pic, fucking open diffs (for now).

i've actually only gotten stuck once with the f150 since i got my iroks and that time broke the front chunk so here are a few pictures when it had 35's and 38's.

I sunk the zj agian a couple months ago, hydro locked the engine this time. My transmission stayed dry though, since i relocated the vent when i rebuilt it. I drove through here a month or two before, needless to say it was a little deeper this time around:laughing:

Well, it's not a 4x4, but it is stuck in some mud....

My brother-in-law was backing into his driveway at about 3am when he dropped the passenger side tires off the driveway. The tires sunk when he tried to move it. The rear diff, passenger fuel tank, tag axle and liftgate were on the ground. The only thing that stopped it from tipping over was an 12 inch diameter cedar tree that busted the top of the sleeper and a 12 inch pine that busted the rear of the box. Oddly enough, I pulled him right out with a New Holland 75.1 B backhoe. This was the third time he got that truck stuck (all three times it was pulled out with a backhoe). The first time he backed it into a ditch in Amish country and the second time he backed it into an old stump hole that I had filled in that is midway up the driveway in the middle of the front yard. This used to be my truck when he and I team drove, but when I quit driving the owner let him continue driving it solo. If the picture had been taken a little lower you would be able to see the air under the left front tire.:eek:
