Spun the tube on my FF 60. Moved about half the distance as one of the case spreader holes. For those of you that have spun one, what did you do to get it back, and how did you keep it from doing it again?

You sure are having bad luck with that rear 60:flipoff2:

Ask Gearman..I'm sure he has seen a spun 60 once or twice...I have heard that it is more common than people realize

I may need to wait a few days before asking him. After seeing him on Sat night at the box, it will take time for the haze to clear.

Dumbass, the spin was caused by torque, not from dragging on rocks.:flipoff2:

BTT

come awn you braniacs.....

Do you think a bottle jack between the pinion and the frame rails will push it back. What about welding the tubes. Dont tell me I am the only one that has had this problem......

Keith,
I had to grind/torch the plug welds out, press the tube out/in, and reweld the plugs and I also did around the tube. I ran it for a while and it was fine before it was sacraficed for the current project. It was a B**CH. I don't know that I would do it again...

so basically you retubed it. Did you try any other way to turn the tube before you pulled it?
