Lisa "Camo" Linker is entered the upcoming Women's National Rock crawling Championship all will be driving Jon Bundrant's 1989 Pickup. We went out to Johnson Valley for a little test run and I snapped a few pics. This girl is a great driver, and has no fear!

I never had any doubt that Lisa would be some serious competition. She is a bad ass driver with no fear. And for all you guys that have not ever met her she is a real cool and a hottie too. She definitely does not show any physical attributes of having 2 kids.

By the way, did I mention that I am jealous? <IMG SRC="smilies/thefinger.gif" border="0"> Lisa gets to use a sponsored rig. Gets to practice with it and if she were to break it would get fixed again.

We are still working on the crusah and I probably won't be able to practice with it when it is done. Guess I am going to have to rely on previous experience.

BTW, Fordyce didn't count because things are changing on the crusah. Like rear breaks, twin shifter, etc.

intreasting concept, however i don't think chris is talking about fear in regards to damaging the vechicle he is talking about the kind of fear when you have the potential to do 2 or 3 end over end rolls. she was on the obstacle where jason bunch went over backward twice and rolled down a huge rock face. all of us were puckered up and lisa never broke a sweet. she also stood the truck on end and never broke stride.

If someone handed me a rig to run and I did not have to pay for damage, I would run ARCA this month also But, I have to pay for my own vehicle, so time will tell <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">

Being nice is great, being pretty is not an issue. Sure wish you guys would quit making it one.

Lisa, we're heading to TDS next year...Hope to meet you then...maybe you can give me some pointers....on wheeling, not on bein' pretty! <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">

Actually, 4x4grrl said it first, not the guys.

My point and I am pretty sure everybody else got it, is that she is not only a pretty face. She is a bright, fun, cool and is a f-ing bad ass driver to boot. I think she used to race years ago also.

So yeah, I did say it first because she deserves the acknowledgement. She is my friend and I wanted to point out some of her other good attributes. Sorry if it bothers you.

This particular truck is built for abuse and the body really does not matter. But if you drive a rig too hard you will kill it before you finish the course. At one point Jon told her to keep coming and turned his back to get out of the way, she wanted to stop but Jon told her to keep coming and she did and flopped the truck on it's side. With out showing any emotion she said "hey this EFI is cool our carb rig dies out when it's on it's side".

We took her to the hardest trails we have here, the masters course at Johnson valley. She did not blink an eye at any of the sections and drove most of them at speeds that would have been worthy of points and she did so with few backups or stops.

This series of short trails are truly hard, many drivers have taken a look at this stuff and simply said "no way".

It's still not set in stone. It's either going to be Camo or Jon, still working out the details.
