1999 XJ Sport 4.0L 4x4 (My DD.)

I can not get the damn thing to start. It will just crank and crank but will not start. I have spark and I can hear the fuel pump kick on when I first turn the key, but will not start.

Any Suggestions? Anything to check?

People keep suggesting the CPS but If I have spark then the CPS must be working. Correct?

Most likely the camshaft sensor or the crankshaftsensor. They set the ignition timing...... Checked the faultcode's?

confirm your getting fuel to the rail.could be clogged line ,fuel filter or pump. pump turning on doesnt mean it or the filter isnt clogged or fuctioning improperly.had the problem of pump turning on but no fuel to rail or to the filter, replaced pump, started on first crank.
