Im going hy-steer on my waggy 44 front Ill also be running hydro assist steering, Is it better to run to steering arms or one? For full hy-steer, both arms are needed. If the tierod is kept stock, only one arm for the draglink.

Oh yeah its not full hydro its just assist so should I got with 1 or 2 for the hell of it while the axle is apart? <IMG SRC="smilies/confused.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="smilies/confused.gif" border="0">

It just depends if you want the tie rod and drag link above the springs.

1 steering arm = drag link above springs
2 steering arms = drag link and tie rod above the springs.

It all personal preference and how much $$$ you want to spend <IMG SRC="smilies/beer.gif" border="0">

hi-steer describes using two arms

cross-over is one arm

One arm moves the drag link, two moves them both. Getting them both up higher will make it harder to bend. It is usually a cost thing, but I prefer full.

i have them both.. and to me.. the little added cost of one other arm.. is well worth moving them both above the springs... just seems stupid to leave the tie rod down low so you can bash it up..
