To stop the hijacking of the pros and cons thread lets move over here.

River Rock has an open run Jan 23,24,25. I am working on going to this one. But it may be last minute that I can definetly go. I have a commitment that may not go happen.

I would like to run Mountain side in Alabama, then maybe move over to Morris Mountain the next day the first weekend in February that they are open. Anyone interested.
We need to figure out the date they are open and post it. I will try to work on that. Any help would be appreciated.

March is open right now. Maybe Harlan, KY or some local guys were discussing Rausch creek, or Disney. any other suggestions. Maybe Chinqapinn?

The mountainside website says they are open first and third weekend of the month. I will try to call them next week.

guys make sure if you decide to come to the April fools event you post up in that thread. The more that post the more sponsors might want to help.

We can ride in Mt Olive/ Gardendale, AL area (outside of Grayrock) almost any weekend. You can park right next to the trails and you would pretty much have to haul ass, not get out of the rigs at all, and not break if you wanted to hit all of the trails/ hills in one day.

We dont have F-Toys, but we do ride fully built Toys :D

GrayRock '09 Schedule: (not FTOY exclusive, but Tached Out gang will be there and we dont just follow around the 502 rockwelled buggies like a lot of folks do :shaking:)

It is very likely that we will attend the Harlan April Fools ride as well. In what vehicle I have no idea at this time? The last 2 years have been somewhat damp so bring the appropriate foul weather gear and plenty of quarters for the car wash.:D

I should be in Harlen for April Fools again. Not sure if it will be in the F-Toy or the 4Runner. Depends on the weather and the build progress.

Shoop, Thanks for all your help at the TTORA Takeover this past summer, even though it was the wrong axle. :D This time I will bring the right spare rear shafts, I did find one at that boneyard just outside of town. Sure was a bitch getting that stuck shaft out. See ya this year.

Lots and lots of quarters are needed at this event. And lots of rain gear!

ftoy507
01-28-2009, 05:45 PM
Are the quarters for the poker? We like to play poker and drink adult beverages and shots one night.
Bring $25 in quarters.

Jeep07
01-28-2009, 06:22 PM
quarters are for the car wash :) your use sounds fun too though.

I will be there for the ride.

Just a quick follow up.
Harlan spring crawl is 2 weeks away. Who is going to be there.
I will be at the campground behind the dairy hut sites 15,16,20.
I will be with a few jeeps and a trick toyota based tube buggy. If the weather sucks we will be playing poker under the RV awning after we wheel and get drenched.

Next ride we are working on is the River Rock spring fling May 1,2,3
