I am currently working on converting my 88 62 series to a 4 speed. So far everything has gone fairly smooth. When removing the clutch pedal and master cylander today, i noticed that the bracket (plate) the clutch is mounted to is welded on to a bigger panel that looks impossible to remove. Does anyone have a suggestion as to how to deal with this? I am thinking of trying to get the bracket off and bringing it to a welding shop, but i am wondering if there is something easier to do.
