Aint you ever heard of the Military Jeeps 4Banger? :flipoff2:

Misfitcj, I'm assuming that the vechile in question is a CJ2A or an M38. Try Army Jeep Parts (http://www.armyjeepparts.com/).;)

Yeah, I heard the military used some Jeeps before the Hummer :flipoff2:

MJ2A still doesn't mean anything, if you're talking Military Jeep, it's an MC, MB, GPW, M38, M38A1, M170, M715, M725, M729 and a bunch of other weirdo's, but I've never heard of a MJ anything except an 80's XJ based Commanche pickup. I can only assume he meant CJ2A

Yo Banger, speaking of M-715s, aren't you the dirty bastard who let a perfectly good '715 go to waste? Heard some pimply kid had it crushed...:flipoff2: :flipoff2:

Yeah, that would be me, and thanks for dredging up that painful memory, I'll be in theropy for years because of it, if I would have just gone to the ATM immediately like I planned, but the girlfriend had other plans, I went back with cash in hand two days later and it was gone, the previous owner just about cried when I told him what that dork did to it. That kid called me because he heard I had lots of Chevy parts, he wanted a NP203 case that i would have given him until I heard what he did with that Kaiser, ended up charging him $200 for a t-case that's been laying around for three years, came out of a truck I got for $50. He's got 39.5 Boggers on what was a 1/2 ton truck with a fancy bling bling paint job and triple double roll bar, everything out of the Lund and Smittybuilt catalog. He saw that that Kaiser had 6-lug dana 60's and bought it, not even noticing that it was the six on-HUGE pattern. He actually asked me if I knew anyone that could re-drill his wheels. I don't even think he knows what a gear ratio is.

Holy shit, I'm in tears over that story Banger.:crybaby2:

Last summer, I spotted a '715 about 15 mins south of where I live. I only got a quick glance at it and saw it was forsale. Went back about two weeks later and she was gone. I doubt I would have bought it, cause I live in a shitty apartment, so I don't have anywhere to store a rig like that.:D Never the less, I wanted to take a better look, crawl all over that thing.

'Least I can say I tried I guess.:flipoff2:

I have to move vehicles in an out of my garage to keep the city off my back but I would have disassembled that thing and put it in my living room if I had to, that is the single coolest truck ever built, ever, period, no topping it. I get a chub just seeing an older J series pickup and thinking about a M715.

Nothing left to say Banger; I coundn't agree more. I'd have that rig wedged in my parent's garage before my pops could even think about saying...:D :D

His damn WJ can sleep outside for a '715, by God.

I met a guy named Doug in Napa with a Jseries in nice shape took it on the rocks for the first time a couple a weeks ago heard a lot of don't worry its just the frame and some tight squeezing. I have pics but haven't mastered the digicam yet I'll e-mail them when I do
