Found a hood, complete grille with lights, and the complete fold down windshield for a flatty in my barn. Curious what they are worth? They are mint with no rust and been sittin in a barn for god knows how long. I know I should post pics so i will soon. Just curious bout a random guess.

Depends on which flatty. If it's from an MB/GPW and original, then it's worth some $$$. If it's a 45 or early 46 CJ2a with the bullet lights on the grill, those are worth good money. And if it's a CJ2a of any year - original type windsheild and frame, those are worth good money. How much really depends on the buyer.

That would be me...$150 cash plus shipping. as long as there is no rust or damage otherwise its a sidestep for me.

It should be fairly easy to get a rough idea what model it is from. Do the windows open forward? If so, probably 2A, and worth more (I would be interested). Is the window one piece of glass, regular mounted (like newer cars)? If so, probably a 3b. On the hood, is the sides tall or short? Tall, 3, short 2. You can also go to www.thecj2apage.com and find information about it.

If the stuff is from a 2A, I would be interested in some of it-- specifically the windshield frame (glass would be a bonus). Is the work Willys stamped in the windshield frame?

The hood on the sides are much taller on a 3b.

That's a 2a with a 3a windshield, or a 3a

2a - 2 piece windsheild with glass that tips out L-134 motor
3a - same as a 2a except the windshield is 1 piece L-134 Motor
3b - big goofy tall hood F-134 motor

You are right.... I get my 3a/b mixed up. And the jeep is a 46 2a (originally red), with the numbers to back it up.
