So I am stuck before i start replacing random parts I would like it if someone has had similar issues and could help instruct.
I have checked all the obvious things
Maf hose ,plugs ,wires ,cap ,
rotor those things.
My engine trouble code 26 says air/fuel rich and outlines possible culprits but i would like to go one step at a time before replacing tons of parts
My chilton exploded diagram say there is a fuel pump relay but has no section on testing or locating the darn thing
also the fuel pressure regulator if i pull a hose nothing changes with the engine is that a sign perhaps it is clogged or stuck closed and testing available
I f it was running rich would not the engine just rev abit higher
Its stumbling difficult to accelerate bad idle
any ideas gents

So i put the jumper in and checked timing and it is a little off 3 btdc but before i align it i want to be sur the timing is not just abit off because of some componenet should I just go ahead and correct it?
