charlo 08-19-2002, 11:05 PM I have heard you can get up to 60hp by simply porting the heads/intake/exhaust. I plan on doing this but remember hearing something about the vortec heads having a swirling action which makes them better than normal heads. I also heard that porting them can disrupt this "thing" and reduce nice vortc heasd to older retangular port equvilants. Fill me in im clueless.
