For those of you running Beadlocks on 16.5 inch wheels do you have problems with the innerbead when airing down?

I welded an inner safety bead out of 3/16 round stock. Used body filler to ramp the inside edge so the tire will slip over the round stock. Works like a champ. Hope I never have to take them off:laughing:. I read about doing that mod on here somewhere. Search and you will find.

You think it's possible to take some junk tube and run it lengthwise down a bandsaw and make a smaller safety bead that can actually let you remove the tire? if you have a piece long enough you can probably make all 4 safety beads with one length of tube.

I'd just run double beadlocks :p
