12.5 inch donahoe racing
and 10" super lift..
is anyone running either of these?
oh and also never known anyone or been around lifted f-250,its a small town and ive been looking and cant find a 3" bodylift for my '03 f-250..not only 3" just cant find one period..

Is your truck a gasser or a diesel?? They dont make them for the powerstroke I believe it has something to do with the downpipe.. But if its a gasser they have them..

id go lower and install some cutout flares -
get a 6" then lower the front hangers / longer shackles and
flip the rear shackle - put on cutouts - you will fit 44s and have a better ride - plus a lower center of gravity

Why do you want that much lift?

No one makes a body lift for the diesels. The intercooler piping makes it a pain in the ass. You could make one yourself, but its pointless in my opinion, as body lifts are a waste of time on a leaf sprung truck anyways....they are already so easy to get lift.
Quality comparison...Icon is on a whole different level than Superlift. First, Ill compare apples to apples, Icon 10.5" vs. Superlift 10".
Icon springs way softer than Superlift, with a better bushing design that doesnt crap out in a years time.
Icon uses 6" leaf springs, less arch than Superlift 8" springs...again, ride.
Icon uses 4.5" hangers when Superlift uses 2.5". This makes for less work if you decide to go higher in the future. Just swap the leafs on the Icon, as 4.5" hangers is about the max I would ever run....The superlift will stick you with having to buy 2" larger springs every time, or swapping out for 4.5" hangers.
Icon steering - crossover, Superlift - factory style with a large drop pitman arm. This is by far the biggest difference in the two kits, and where you see the price difference. 10" is borderline for needing crossover steering. Depending on your driving, you can get away without it, but if you are on this site asking these questions, you need the crossover. It greatly reduces the leverage seen by the sector shaft, thus reducing chance of failure. A failed sector shaft at the wrong time would be catastrophic, no bullshit. Hydro assist would also be somehting worth looking into with the size tire you are talking about.
Next, nitrogen charged shocks vs. white body. White bodies just plain suck, they dont do hardly anything on a heavy truck for dampening, and the paint chips and rusts in absolutely no time. The Icon shocks are nickel plated and clearcoated, nitrogen charged with a digressive rate piston (valved specifically for the duties), and have a lifetime warranty (all of their parts do).
You can also buy all of Icons pieces individually.
Icons downfall (for some) is price, and the rear will definitely need traction bars no matter what.
Im not ragging on Superlift either, as I give them credit for putting a system together with both springs and hangers...most manufacturers cant quite figure that one out; but in this case Id go with Icon hands down, very worth it IMO.
Heres the Icon 12.5" (on a 6.0L it is more like 13.25") with dual mono-tube shocks, my straight tie-rod and dual stab setup, as well as my traction bars. This is on 39.5x1650x17 Rockers on 17x14s. It can clear a 42" max without a good amount of trimming.

Bigreen- That's a really well put together post. I just learned more about lifting the leaf sprung Uber Duty's in 3 minutes than I have over the last 10 years.
Your truck looks fuckin sick too. What year? You do any towing with it? If so, how much and how's it tow with the lift and big tires?

Thanks man...I have been around these trucks WAYYYY too much
The black truck is a customers truck. It is an '04. He tows an 18' foot boat; I think that's about it. The rear has the 5" Icon springs rather than the 8", but it also has the Fabtech 3" rear hangers, and the factory 3-5/8" block. It is just a hair lower than level in the rear.
