Just wanted to let anyone in the vicinity of Iowa know that the Central Iowa 4 Wheelers are hosting our 4th annual Timber Ridge Trail ride September 20-22. It will be near Mapleton, IA and is fun for stock vehicles and built vehicles alike. Attached is a link to our newsletter and our website.

I did Castana 3-4 years in a row....great time. This place rocks for stockers and modifieds alike. Lots of steep hills, offcambers, spots where you need to slide your front tire by one tree while at the same time watching your cage on the opposite side slide by another tree only to get by and then slide your passenger side tire thru....not a lot of vehicle required, but lots of driver patience and skill.
And if it rains, chain your truck to a tree or find it at the bottom....VERY slippery stuff, that W IA gumbo!
gonna get back there one of these summers...just too many other places on the list!

You guys all need to check out www.midwestcrawler.com and post some info or just chat. There are a lot of guys trying to locate you all! We are attempting to connect everyone within the midwest to share wheelin' spots and to hopefully develop some new ones. We have a few guys that were JUST asking about the central Iowa club. Hope to see you all there!
