They changed the rules at this one. They bumped us up to XXX (anything goes) class. If anyone had more than 3 engines mods done to their stock engine ( headers, etc.) We had to run against a rail car and nitrous boys. They put naturally aspirated trucks against the guys on the bottle. What a bunch of crap. Only 14 trucks showed. 7 of them ended up being in the XXX class. Only one guy in the X class ( 44” tires).

It was fun running against the rail car and Robin came in third with the Knight after all. He had a great run.

Put some more pics on the site if anyone is interested

Around here, it would depend on where you raced what class you'd be in, but it wouldn't be the "open" class. At MMOR races, you'd be in "Pro Stock" (40" limit on "Super Stock) which means cut tires & nitrous are allowed, but tube frames are not. At my GUMBO events, you'd be "Outlaw Stock" which allows any type of suspension, but must have stock style frame, full body, uncut DOT's, max of 1 carb, no NOS. With MMRA, you'd be "Super Stock" & their definition is essentially the same as my "Outlaw Stock". Ditto for the unsanctioned races in the Western part of the state. They have various names for the 44" Class, but they're all essentially the same as my "Outlaw Stock".

Most places are only that strict on the engines in the very lowest "street" class - usually with a 33-35" limit on tires.
