Can this be done? The motor in my F250 is getting kinda old and tired, so I am thinking about swapping a PS motor in there. I know, WHY, but I can't afford a new truck, and I need a daily driver. Where can I find a good mechanic to look at my ford dieslel and tell mw what the status of the truck is? I am in San Francisco mind you.

Yes the question is Why. :)

If I was you I would look into Banks, and ATS. See what the price differnces are on the two bolt on turbo's and whatever else they may have for your existing engine. Once you find out that price, then find out what it might cost to throw a new engine in there ($8k?). Look into the two major manufacturers of turbos and see what they say before going the whole new engine. By the time your done with it you may just end up with your block and a few other items but you could have way more HP then the newer PS's come with. :) Specially if you go with the Propane and all that fun jazz. :)
