I just finally received the bolt for my AR15 today... took long enough, but just in time! :shaking:
I was noticing on my other AR15 upper, the barrel has a step down in it, instead of being thick the whole way through like my other.
Whats the deal with that? Is there any improvement over one with a step down on it vs one that is the same thickness all the way?

the m4 profile is notched for a m203. i am surprised you don't have one of those:flipoff2:

The M4 has a notch in the barrel to allow an m203 grenade launcher to be attached.

i THINK i got a pretty good deal...
173 for a sling and bolt shipped to my house.
either way, its a bolt, and if i lost 20 bux, i lost 20 bux. i will just eat ramen noodles for the rest of the week. :flipoff2:
but really, im just happy to have an operable AR if i need it....

i think that attachment would be a little on the heavy side. might help with long range plinking though! :-p
