Im looking for information on a warn /bellevue 8000 model 6501 ,
imm aware that it is one way and was made by bellevue before warn took ownership , i was looking to find out its date of production or any othe rrelevant information

I run an old bellevue warn on my jeep, has 6501 stamped in it, see if i can find pics but mine is 2 way power with auto brake and freespool, but bellevue case and has 2 ratchet pawls on the brake, way different system than the 8274. mine is supposedly a 72-73 ish something between the one way bellevues and the 8274. hope this helps a bit. BTW, this is my favorite winch by far and it is FAST. this place shows pics of the 1 way manual brake bellevue.

Awesome thanks for the info , the one im enquiring about is the single direction manual brake , i will post more info once i get the camera sorted

i had one, just passed it off to a friend. i spoke with an old timer at WARN
about it and he was able to give me some info on them.
