Im planning to swap a f-350 2007 diff set ( d60 and 10.5 sterling) on my 79 bronco and strech the front diff to 120'' WB with 42/17 irok

I searched on forum and didnt saw any post with similar build, so if you have one please post pics and what type of set-up you used. I need some inspiration

Here is something similar to your question-not a '79BB but an EB-front stretch was 12". The front 60 was moved out enought for the chunk to "clear" the bottom of the oil pan and allow the tops of the 4link to be attached on the pas. side of the center section....... Rear 70 is moved back about 2" best I can remember-4linked also.
We have done a couple of ranger/truggy deals in the last two winters-4linked rear, 3link fronts etc. IF you want the 120 wb you will have very little trouble 4link the front-just move the axle out enough to clear the oil pan and have at it:) The two rangers are xcabs, and both 3linked front to keep the wb shorter and obviously no oil pan clearance so thus the 3link and tracbar/panhard deal......... The rangers are 112 and 116 wb

stock wheelbase is 104, just moving the front is a long stretch at 16"
the rear projection was what aways caused me grief

I was thinking of doing my own frame with 1,750''x.250 tubing and wondering if its worth it... to save some weight and help relocalize the front 4 link..

Kbebs do you have any pics of the front 4link ?

How did you change the steering box or did you change it? Thinking of stretching my front end on my 68 bronco.

I will take a couple latter on this afternoon when it warms up a bit. Winter has actually hit wNC the past couple days-single digits the past two mornings!

We "cheated" on all three-the eb and both rangers are all full hydro- This allowed us to mount the orbital valve along the top of the frames wherever they fit the best.

Those are wicked 'Bronco' graphics. :grinpimp:

Call me when you get some snow. :flipoff2:

I'm building 'Bubba Hyde' with 49" iroks on mogs, and facing the same issue. Good thread. Let's see more pics!
