so i got a 03 TJ its pretty stock as a matter fact it is stock but my problem is my stock shocks went bad so i switched over to Black Diamond AT shocks they have been on there now for about a year and they seem like they are already bad. Jeep seems to hit bumps hard and feels like there's a sway to it. i checked the sway bars and the tie rod ends they all seem to be fine... so i was wondering has anyone had bad luck with these shocks???

I don't have any experience with those shock in particular but shocks do go bad. I had some rancho 5000 on my dd that were shot after about a year and 40k miles. It all depends on their useage. I bought mine from oreillys and they came with a lifetime warranty. Took them off, took them back to oreillys and got 4 brand new ones for $0 dollars. Can't beat that. I'd buy some new ones with a lifetime warranty if I were you and just keep the receipt for when they need replacing. my $.02

With shocks you pretty much get what you pay for! If you skimp a little and buy the cheapest shock that your local parts store has on the shelf, then you can bet they wont last you too long depending how much you abuse your rig. If you plan on lifting your rig anytime soon then I would go with another somewhat cheep shock too get you by. If you plan on staying stock for quite a while then go pick up a set of Bilsteins!

well i got the shocks out of Quadratec i think they are made by superlift dont quote me on that....... but i've been toying with the idea of redesign the rear shock mounts to reagular eye shock mounts on the rear. so that way when i do eventually lift it and make it my wheeler i already have fresh mounts to work with..
