This is a Kling #4 60 Ton Mechanical Iron Worker. It is a combination ironworker that can shear (plate, rounds, squares, flat bar, angles), punch, notch, and miter. The punch end works independent of the ironworking end, and is air actuated. The foot control did not come with this unit when it was acquired but is readily available. It could also be easily converted back to mechanical actuation by a simple fabricated lever. The shearing and notching end is mechanically actuated by means of a foot pedal. The machine is complete with the exception of the upper angle iron shear blade (p/n 30870) and the lower 90 degree notch dies (p/n 30875). All parts for this machine are available from www.hill-acme.com or http://www.americanpunchco.com/machine_tooling/kingsland_hillacme_kling_ironcrafter.htm .
